  • Small Claims Courts/Judges in the UK - liberal-minded or not?

    Are there areas where they are more liberal-leaning and likely to grant your wishes?I.e. labour/conservative strongholds...

    I ask because I used to take companies to Court in the USA. In California I won every case. In the mid-West, none.

    From what I understand, in the US laws vary from state to state whereas in the UK laws vary a little between England and Wales/Scotland/Norther Ireland.

    Judges should apply the law and to be honest I find the idea of picking an area to maximise the benefit to you a little distasteful- it suggests the law is not equal
